Hibernation…

Cabin fevered and heater rash,
We fling ourselves from winter wombs
of warm houses or apartment couches
to city streets,
lately snow-laden.
Hibernation creeps in sleepy veins,
We ran out quickly, but crawl back in,
And darkness falls like a well-worn quilt
early and soft around our faces,
sings us softly to sleep.

sam… i really want to be able to send you an email but i cannot find a method of contact here, on etsy or on flicker. (i am not on twitter or facebook) i am Enthralled w/ your work… i have only just recently come across it. you now have my e-addy and i would appreciate being able to, umm, “gush” about your art’s effect on me in a format that is not “posted”…
but i do want to at least say *here* that i love your blog too! i hope to “hear” from you.
