Vivian Maier was a street photographer during the 1950s-1970s in Chicago. Apparently, after her death in April a lot of 40,000 negatives was found at auction and her work is being posted on this blog.
I found this image particularly striking, but her body of work as a whole is quite beautiful. Enjoy!
Also, I think "Vivian" is the most lovely, slightly exotic, nostalgic name.
