crossing something off my list
dear Internet:
today i learned how to drive a standard.
it was panic-attack-filled fun for all. i only hyper-ventilated about 32 times and i finally mastered getting going on a hill.
i know it seems small, but i am so proud of conquering this.
also, Tiffany is the best teacher ever. you should definitely see if she's around when you want to learn to drive a stick.

I remember when I learned to drive a stick. I bought a manual knowing that I didn't know how to drive it, and that there was no other option but to learn.
Learning new skills is awesome. Congratulations.
