post holiday highlights

so to sum up, the holidays were wonderful and joy-filled, if lacking the white layer of snow. now we're down to the lazy part, where laundry is slowly attended to amidst starting christmas books (2666 for russ and the summer book for me) and listening to new christmas music (ryan adams for russ and bon iver for me).

we both felt so blessed this year, love living in nyc and are enjoying our last bit of time off before heading back to work on friday.

new years will be spent with friends in a low key manner with movies, champagne and the promise of some rio grande games!
