WIP

(in case you weren't sure WIP = Work In Progress)
i'm making some fingerless gloves for my secret santa using this pattern. i didn't have the right size needle and didn't feel like driving the 25 minutes back to Joann's for the second time in a week, so i'm adjusting a bit to make it work with even smaller needles.

in other news, here is my current list of things i want/need from Texas:
1. trip through HEB - look for bulk yeast and stock up on loose tea
2. mexican food - preference given to Chuy's big as yo' face burrito and creamy jalapeno dip
3. raspberry chipotle dip
4. trip to Ikea for textiles and magazine boxes
5. trip to Hancock fabrics for textiles

Wow...I just learned to knit a few months ago and these look completely daunting. They are going to be awesome! And now, I'm going to practice.
Oh, and I found your blog through Michelle's - she made my beautiful wedding invitations. I guess creativity/talent runs in her circle of friends!
you know the saying... birds of a feather or something :)
yeah, i've been knitting for about 3 or 4 years now. this project was a leap for me, but they actually did turn out really well (didn't have time for a photo) and my secret santa loved them :) good luck with the learning!
