hopelessly uninteresting girl conjures up mindless dribble just to have a new blog entry

well, it's true. there's nothing very interesting to report on, except for doing taxes and applications for graduate school (russ, not me).

i'm listening to wilco's yankee hotel foxtrot on repeat... it hasn't gotten old yet, so we'll see how long i can take it. his voice is so soft and scratchy at the same time, i just want to fall asleep to it. seeing as i'm listening in my car, this has been a desire i've had to subvert, for the sake of my general safety and the safety of other drivers.

honestly, what i'm most looking forward to is sleeping late tomorrow. i can hear all the voices in my head about how the rest of the world wakes up at 7a.m. and how i'm wasting half my day, but i'm sorry, i just LOVE sleeping until about 11 or noon on my day off. and i've tried going to bed early and it just doesn't feel the same to me. i know the math is all there; it's the same number of hours... i just feel more "rested" if i stay up late and sleep late. good thing my mom doesn't read this. (sleeping late goes against more than one of her german work ethic convictions...) :)
